Faces in the city (from 2021)

I edit my illustrations over photos of the streets of Tours, Aix-en-Provence or other cities. The purpose is to bring a form of magic in the town by adding art all over its walls, in a digitally edited way. Images and photos of reality interact and become more.

Graffiti Provence landscapes

Provence (2022)

Big mural paintings inspired by the landscapes of Provence. Painted with spray paint and little touches of brush. I like to use a very modern and urban technique (graffiti) to represent traditional and natural subjects.

Words & images

La Saison Sauvage (The Wild Season) (from 2022)

5 image-series inspired by the characters and nature (Provence) of my eponymous novel that have been published in France, in the beginning of December 2022 by Editions Unicité.
The text comes from the novel and accompanies the images, giving precisions about the protagonists.

I explore the fusion of both my activities: writing and visual art. As both an author and an artist (painter/illustrator), I find a way to reconcile both these practices by creating artworks that can be looked at and read.

I like the fact that it changes the look. The reading is parasitized by the colors and shapes of the image that interfere with the words. And while looking at the image, the text appears and can modify the sense or comfort it (in the novel series, the words give information about the visual).
